The Sail Loft in Portsoy has been listed as one of the world’s top new hostels by American Express Essentials.
The listing comes as a welcome surprise to the team and staff who operate The Sail Loft, who were unaware of the accolade until it was announced.
The listing significantly boosts global recognition of the self catering accommodation which opened earlier this year and has since achieved 4 star hostel status by Visit Scotland.
